Typically, when I write, stories go straight to editors, then designers who work on the layout to create the final project. I recently had an opportunity to sit down to expand on my limited knowledge of Adobe InDesign to create a mock-up magazine stylebook and layout using Adobe Indesign. InDesign is an extremely versatile program, yet there is a lot that goes into becoming familiar with the program’s navigation. This was a great experience to continue improving my eye for design work in a way that allows me to express myself creatively and to continue working on skills that will be an asset in a career in conservation communications.
