WRITING
For me, writing is something that went from a hobby to something much more meaningful. It’s the perfect way for me to combine my knowledge, passion, and experiences of the outdoors to craft narratives for conservation organizations. This inspired me to go back to school to complete a degree in Journalism and Media Communications so that I may one day use my voice to enact change in how we interact with wild places and to increase community engagement. Below are a few pieces I have written for magazines, which show how, as a lifelong fly angler, my on-water experience has helped me build a deeper understanding of the issues surrounding these places, and what can be done to fix them.
